Ani Lorak (Karolina Kuek, born September 27, 1978) is a Ukrainian singer, People's Artist of Ukraine. She represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with the song “Shady Lady” and took second place there. Winner of the “Golden Gramophone”, “Singer of the Year”, “Golden Organ Organ”, “Person of the Year”, “Song of the Year” awards, etc., as well as five “golden” discs (“There you are…”, “Dream about me” ”, “Ani Lorak”, “Smile”, “Rozkazhi”) and two “platinum” (“Sun” and “15”).
